Sand Candle Care

1. Storage:
- Keep the sand candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent fading and deterioration.
- Avoid placing them in areas with high humidity, which can affect the integrity of the candle.

2. Cleaning:
- Dust off the candles gently with a soft cloth to remove any debris or dust.
- If the candle gets dirty, use a slightly damp cloth, but avoid soaking it.

3. Inspect Regularly:
- Check for any signs of cracking or damage in the wax or sand.
- Discard any candles that show significant wear or damage.

Instructions for Use

1. Setting Up:
- Place the sand candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from flammable materials.
- Ensure there’s adequate ventilation in the area where you plan to light the candle.

2. Lighting the Candle:
- Use a long match or lighter to ignite the wick.
- Allow the candle to burn for a few minutes to create an even melt pool.

3. Burning Guidelines:
- Keep the candle burning for no more than 2-3 hours at a time to prevent excessive melting and ensure safety.
- Always keep an eye on the candle while it’s lit to monitor for any issues.

4. Extinguishing the Candle:
- Use a candle snuffer or gently blow out the flame. Avoid using water, as it can cause the wax to splatter.

5. Wick Maintenance:
- Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before each lighting to ensure a steady flame and reduce soot.

- Fire Safety: Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep it out of reach of children and pets.
- Heat: The sand may become hot during burning; handle with care if you need to move the candle.
- Avoid Drafts: Keep the candle away from fans, open windows, or any drafty areas to prevent uneven burning or flare-ups.
- Burning Surfaces: Always place the candle on a heat-resistant surface or tray to catch any melted wax or sand.
